If/When The Nexstar/Tegna Merger Happens In CLE...

None of the networks are adding owned stations to their portfolios.
True given that networks are protecting their TV apps in the ones I seen. Yes I mean the one where NBC spun off their cable networks to Versant and shut down their Syndication division as part of a strategy to protect Peacock app.

Keep in mind that Scripps and WEWS started "thinning the herd" well before their competitors. There are far more 20+ year legacy employees at the other stations than at Channel 5.

While the turmoil continues on the potential Nexstar/Tenga merger lawsuit, my prediction of 19/43 moving to Dick Goddard Way if and when Fox 8 moved in with Channel 3 on Lakeside is moot.

Gray looks to be going to Independence, but not overlooking the I-77/480 interchange as originally planned.

Nexstar reaches deal with Ohio AG to acquire TEGNA stations

The deal, which takes the form of a “Memorandum of Understanding,” requires Nexstar to maintain separate news operations at WKYC (Channel 3, NBC) in Cleveland and WBNS (Channel 10, CBS) in Columbus. Nexstar already owns WJW-TV (Channel 8, Fox) in Cleveland and WCMH (Channel 4, NBC) in Columbus.

So no merger, is the way I see it.
