Put local/state talk on an FM. Maybe news/politics/info in the mornings, sports in the afternoons.

I'll play along...

I'll bite, seeing how folks are tired of financially loaded inquires:

*WAY-FM loses its translator at 91.5 and WKXN loses its at 107.9 for new community LPFMs. The new 91.5 goes bluegrass and classic country; the new 107.9 goes Spanish.

*Clear Channel realizes that they'll own the urban audience better by having Magic and Hallelujah switch places. Hot 105 gets suddenly sounds fresher...by firing Michael Long. (If Darryl E. was too old for Hot, what's Long's excuse?

*Bluewater's Bama Country 98.9 keeps chip-chip-chipping away at WLWI, while 97-9 Jamz continues to pester WZHT. They also make the following eye-opening tweaks: The new AAA/Alternative "Buzz 96.1" hits the suburbs hard (and gives some guy named Davenport a job).

*Alexander Broadcasting scores something of a coup: getting the FCC to approve a tower move for 100.9 to White Hall, and getting the allocation for 93.1 FM. WALX, while still licensed to Selma, becomes variety hits "100.9 Mike FM", and 93.1 becomes Montgomery's second try at an FM Talker.

*Sunshine 16, owners of WXVI, step in and purchase 1250 WAPZ and commit to a full-time affiliation of the Southern Soul Network. A group of Democratic businessmen take over WIQR, making it Alabama's first affiliate for Air America.

*WVAS adds PRI's "The Tavis Smiley Show" if they haven't done so already.

Now, somebody go ahead and ask me how much I've been drinking.

swap the fox with the rocket in huntsville
move johnboy and billy to 96.1 and put bob and tom on 95.1
Change Alice to a real classic rock station, perhaps put Nights with Alice Cooper on it too just to go along with the alice name

but yea, whatever
