A few weeks ago on a Saturday morning, I decided to flip around on AM until the "Coaches Breakfest" show on WANT came on, only to hear it on 1490, and spanish on 900. A few days later, I hear the WAMB on 1200 and the hammers and nails on 1160. (you must admit, that was a clever stunt) I then hear at the top of the hour on 900 the WCOR calls, which shouldn't be legal since during a Lebanon High basketball game, 1490 had those calls. So I called WANT about two weeks ago and found this information out... (besides the fact that WANT's owner and WAMB's owner are related...had to scroll down to a previous thread to get that info)

1160 finally signs on with the christian format today as WCRT, 1490 has been "Real Country" WCOR for about 2 1/2 weeks, 1200 has had standards with the WAMB calls for about the same time and finally... 900 has had spanish for a while as well and if not already has or will take the WKDA calls.

Oh by the way, WNAZ 89.1's Lebanon translator is dead I think, because all I hear is static. What's up with that?

Until I hear that answer, this is Jet Thompson flying off until 3 pm on 88.5 WVCP when I'm joined by Kickin' Kenny for the new season of Sounds & Sports.

Thanks for the info. How much power does 1490 have? What about 1200 how much power?

1490 is 1kw non directional all day. 1200 is a 10kw daytimer. They have a CP for night broadcast with 90w nulled strongly to the west.
