"If You Don't Know Me By Now" by Simply Red

Before Renda Broadcasting's AC KMGL/Oklahoma City brought their streaming player back online, I've been seeing "If You Don't Know Me By Now" by Simply Red on their playlist via yes.com. I don't know what the song sounds like until I actually I tried to listen to it on YouTube and it turned out to be a very good song played on KMGL.

Even though I'm a 19 yr old male, I still believe it's a good song for the AC format, it might be very slow though, but that song really brings some good tastes to the AC format according to the older demo.

I don't remember, but I think I notice Entercom's AC stations including KOIT/San Francisco, WLMG/New Orleans, WSPA/Greenville plays it too. A few of ClearChannel's AC stations plays it too including KSNE/Las Vegas and I believe WMYI/Greenville plays it too before the flipped to Hot AC a few days ago. I know Renda's KMGL/Oklahoma City plays it and I caught WEJZ/Jacksonville playing it once, but I don't think WEJZ plays regularly, I'm not sure. I'm not sure if WSHH/Pittsburgh plays it though.
 
It is not a bad cover. Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes had the original, which would also work.
 
Lol, I always thought that I saw "If You Don't Know Me By Now" on WSPA playlist too when I check both WSPA and WMYI via yes.com, but I was wrong, I'm used to thinking all the Entercom AC stations that I know plays it. I know for sure other Entercom AC stations including KOIT/San Francisco and WLMG/New Orleans currently plays it now. Entercom AC stations probably like that song.

Well, they do have an 80s lunch during the week and theme weekends occasionally, so it might have been then.
 
I'd rather hear Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.

My station played "Holding Back the Years" and I wish they wouldn't. I don't like the guy, period.
