If you like Smooth jazz, get a HD Radio!

3 stations now have Smooth jazz! 95.7 HD-3 96.5 HD-2 99.1 HD-2

It was playing Smooth Jazz this weekend when I was down. Maybe they changed it back.

Perhaps, because KIKK signs off at sunset? When the programming stops, they must switch it, most likely automatically.

Yeah, but with the internet and HD radio, there is no technical reason why a station has to stop providing programming when their AM signal shuts down for the night. Up here in ETX, KDOK Kilgore was off the air for 2 weeks because of storm damage, yet they continued "broadcasting" via their website stream.

The sign-off message actually directs people to tune into KKHH-HD3 to keep listening.

Just checked. It's jazz right now.

I thought they always did a feed on 650 HD-3 even after dark. Wonder if they are trying to get rid of that format on HD-3 or stunting to another.
