If you miss the music on FM93.3...

You can hear basically the same format online on Cumulus' KHJK in Houston.

It is called JACK FM but it is not like the JACK here in DFW. Plus... No Regular Guys! ;-)

Don't get too used to the current format on KHJK. Ratings are abysmal. Probably the best candidate for a FM format flip in Houston.

In my opinion, kind of boring. I'm just saying.

aren't there already a ton of stations like this? The line up may be a bit eclectic but nothing outstanding.

They are flooding everywhere, slowly by slowly this Top 40 massacre will be heard on every frequency. Energy 92.7 in San Francisco is going to flip to Top 40 called 92.7 The Revolution.

We won't have to worry about that here in Houston. That is unless they go off of the deep end and we end up with i104. Smart money would be on Cumulus' KHJK going Spanish, but we'll see. "Jack" is currently at .6.

They have a Quality Rock station here in Fayetteville Arkandsas that is pretty good. It just changed in June and slo moved to another spot on the dial at 98.3. It is too soon to have ratings. The old 92.1 is ESPN Sports. They are having trouble selling the sports becuase there are 3 other sports stations in the market besides 92.1. Only one of the sports stations sounds good here becuase it is more local than the rest or has better talant.

The regular guys aren't on 93.3 anymore anyway. They left when the format changed.

Oh yes, because one thing Houston really really needs is another spanish station.

Re: If you miss the music on FM93.3... try KRZZ ONLINE

I have a Better OnLine Radio that just started a week ago.... It's KRZZ-ONLINE

They play Rock / Classic Rock.

So far, they are NOT talking over the beginning, nor the ending of each song.

They play hits AND they play songs THAT WERE NOT SINGLES, such as The Beatles "Carry That Weight".

And, they do solicit requests.

The audio stream is LOUD and Clear.

LISTEN ONLINE

KRZZ ONLINE is not affiliated with 93.3 La Raza (KRZZ) in San Francisco.

KRZZ Online is ONLINE Only.

KRZZ ONLINE is affiliated with SMS Media Partners of Bel Aire, Kansas.

http://www.krzzonline.com/

They have rebranded in Houston. They have dropped all things JACK. They are now branded as 103.7FM Houston's Adult Alternative. http://1037online.com/

JUST PLAYED:
6 Underground // Sneaker Pimps
Notion // Kings Of Leon
Road To Nowhere // Talking Heads
Runaway Train // Soul Asylum
Soul Meets Body // Death Cab For Cutie
You Found Me // The Fray
All Mixed Up // 311

The new 93.3 isn't that great in my humble opinion.

I'm still listening to those radio air checks from 106.1 The Oasis that somebody posted a while back.

Gosh I miss that format in Dallas.

If you have an iPhone, get the app called "WunderRadio", it is awesome.
