If you need AZ - KTNN 660

Just I.D.'d KTNN through their online feed at 10:30 PM Eastern. First AZ log since my first go round in DX way back in the early 60's, at least that I can remember.

When peaking, they were holding their own against WFAN, but subject to fading out for several minutes at a time.

I assume they are still on day pattern...

Mario. Sorry. Not the videoing kind.

gar. I'm in Southwest Ohio. (Cincinnati)

I've not made a concerted effort to hear KTNN, but I do check 660 every time I DX, and fortunately KTNN streams.

I'm assuming they had a glitch and failed to switch to their directional pattern, as it was 7:30 PM AZ time.

And if you'd like a second Arizonan, KFLT-830 Tucson "Family Life Radio" has also been lax about powering down recently. Their 50kw non-directional really gets out at night, even though it's not supposed to. Just sayin'.

That's funny, because I'm IN Arizona and I haven't heard them in weeks! In fact I thought they went off the air. Not a fan of the Navajo chanting however but their old timey country western isn't bad

It should be noted this is not particularly uncommon :)

DXers in the East should check 660 periodically. KTNN *will* show up again and is probably your best shot at Arizona. The Navajo programming certainly stands out!

KMIK-1580 (Radio Disney) and KFLT-830 are also occasionally reported. They're going to be a lot harder to positively identify though, due to the use of mostly national programming.
