"Ultimate Philly Fan" Sought For WPEN Hosting Gig
That open evening slot at GREATER MEDIA's new Sports WPEN-A (SPORTS TALK 950)/PHILADELPHIA will be filled with hosts partnered with "PHILADELPHIA's ultimate fan," chosen from fans submitting tapes to the station.
The show is called "THE 700 LEVEL SPORTS FANATICS," named after the infamous upper seating level in the old VETERANS STADIUM, and fans with a special knowledge of PHILLY sports are encouraged to submit tapes to SPORTS TALK 950, Attn.: Ultimate Fan, Suite 339, One Bala Plaza, BALA-CYNWYD, PA 19004.

SPORTS TALK SHOW HOST - GREATER MEDIA RADIO PHILADELPHIA, SPORTS TALK 950 WPEN is Philadelphia's Newest Radio Station and we're looking for someone who has the skills, knowledge and personality to host a successful SPORTS TALK show. The candidate must have at least 3 years on air experience in a major or medium market Sports Talk Radio Station, a friendly but compelling on air presence and must be able to speak competently and seriously about SPORTS! You must also be adept at voicing commercials and making appearances. Hands on editing is a plus but is not mandatory. The position is responsible for the accurate Preparation, Organization, Production and Execution of in-house Sports Talk Shows. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years experience in Writing and Producing Sports Radio in a major or secondary market station.
