If your 401K or IRA was on the line...

Invested in a new radio station, what format would you put on the air here in DFW?

In other words, not what you personally would like to hear, but what format do you think this market is missing, or what format is underserved?

Personally Ive had an Idea of a Format called Great Hits. As Far as I know this isnt done anywhere else. Basically it would be a mix of Classic Hits, Adult Hits, and Oldies. Music played would be from 1957 to 20 years ago. Then keep adding more years of music each year, so 2009 would be 1957-1989 2010 would be 1957-1990. NOt sure how well this could work. But its an Idea ive thought of.

I'd put up something that most CONsultants say would never work, to tick them off and prove them wrong. ;)

I'm not a consultant, so I don't know what they say, do you have any actual ideas, or are you just going to spout off tired cliches?

And come on, doesn't anybody else out there have any ideas on what might work, should be tried, etc?

We get a lot of people on here complaining about the status-quo, but when I ask for people to challenge the status quo, to come up with something that needs to be on the air, Liberty and Jeff are the only ones that have a constructive comment?

Look, you asked a question and I gave you my answer. I'm sorry if it's too vague or if you don't like it. Move along... :)
