Word today has ABC stations as being ---sold--- to Citadel. Deal done.

As I understand, the sale does not include ESPN and Radio Disney stations. Just the core ABC O&O stations.

Actually, the ABC shareholders keep 52% and get half of Citadel as part of the deal. It is a tax-free like kind exchange with the Disney company spinning of the stations for shares for its owners and cash for Disney.

As had been stated for the last year by Disney´s two CEO's.

There are only 22 stations in the deal. They all maqke money, and I suspect they will leave them alone.

This deal will not close until the end of 2006, and that question will probably answer itself by then.

Yes, WZZN and WLS are part of the deal. WMVP is not.
