I suggested on the message board several weeks ago that this is exactly what everybody should do. In fact, I suggested not to respond directly to him at all, regardless of whether or not he starts a new thread. But there are posters on here who insist on engaging this lunatic in dialogue and as long as they do that he will continue to be disruptive. This guy thrives on people reacting to his posts. If nobody reacts in ANY WAY WHATSOEVER to his posts and he is made to be invisible, then he will eventually go away.

In all my years on the net, I have never seen anyone who can single handedly be so obnoxious to what otherwise would be a reasonably civil group of posters. The moderators need to realize that EVERYONE who participates in this forum, both supporters and detractors of IBOC tehnology alike, agree that this individual is an extremely annoying and disruptive influence here. All they need to do is look to see how many threads this guy starts with the same useless information that nobody cares about, day after day after day.

If I was pro-IBOC, as you, it would be a different story - we are all entitled to our own opinions ! Since you don't like my posts, where you do keep periodically logging on, just to flame ! Civil group of posters, I don't think so - IBOCRocks, SaynotoIBOC, HD Ready, SayNoToSayBoToIBOC, and he rest of the pro-IBOC gang ! Guess what - I am not leaving, until IBOC is dead !
 
I have learned a few things from some of SayNoToIBOC's threads.

Seems to me this forum would get pretty boring if we all sat around and argreed on everthing.

Well go on, continue to feed him. When you do that the nonsense will continue. People have suggested that you do not reply to him. But no one is willing to do that.

I am done withthis board. This has gone beyond discussion, to childish ranting. People can disagree, but when it gets to this level, it is no longer a discussion.

Enjoy your one sided spaming of this board. You will learn nothing with out discussion. I am thankful the other board has discussion. They have invited people to talk both pro and con. I will have some great discussions without weeding through the sophomoric name calling and stupid posts.

I was hoping audiophile, that we could have continued this. Join me at the other board if you would like to continue what we have started. You and I may not see eye to eye, but at least we have the respect for each other that will allow for a conversation.

The lunatic is accusing ME of being pro-IBOC. Obviously, his attention deficit disorder prevents him from actually reading my posts. If he did that, he would realize that I am just as anti-IBOC as he is. Just ask IBOCRocks and autopaint-1 who are both seasoned broadcast professionals and know about these things. They will tell you that I am neither a fan of IBOC/Ibiquity nor Ibiquity's business practices. But because all he knows how to do is alienate everyone (including posters who agree with him, like me), he is blind to this.

If I am criticizing him then I MUST have the opposite viewpoint, right? Well so be it. He doesn't get it. He just doesn't get it. I have no clue how this guy ever made it to adulthood.
