It depends on the "cleaning crew" noting that, or if the person pays cash.

Either way, the radio is used as a back up alarm clock to the front desk wake up call.
If you see an Ethernet connection in the room it is a vestige in the days before wifi, it may or may not work. My thoughts are it may have a future (secured) use since it is already in place.
