iHeart Phoenix Layoffs?

Like many, I've been watching the industry sites compile lists of all the people "dislocated" in the past week or so, but not much about our local folks. I heard Melissa Sharpe was let go, but how many others had their jobs shipped off to "Centers of Excellence?"

do you see any of the iheart phoenix stations going changing formats or going anywhere anytime soon. i wonder if iheart is wondering what happened to KNIX

According to Broomhead, he left on his own, but Melissa Sharpe on KEZ, and Amy Kelly and Phil Steiner on 96.9 were let go.

It basically comes from Radioinsight citing local news outlets on who was removed from Iheart though per city though. In some cases it comes from radioinsight citing people who chose to release their names though after an ex-Iheart talent or local manager made an announcement on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram that Iheart upper management removed them.

Luckily, the U.S. Census is hiring temp workers (through the end of 2020 reported) from $15-$30 hour.
