iHeart stream fill songs

Has anyone had issues with iHeart live stations in the last few weeks subbing out all PSAs/streaming spots with multiple fill songs that then significantly delays the return to regular programming? Sometimes a 5-6 minute stopset will be covered up with 8 or 9 minutes worth of fill songs, therefore getting the stream more and more delayed. Then at some point it will buffer to catch up with itself and you'll miss a chunk of programming. The fill songs are better that endless PSAs on repeat, but it's frustrating when they don't stop even when the stopset is over.

The other option is to just interrupt the fill music in mid song to rejoin the live programming. Otherwise the music fill would have to be timed to exactly fill the spot break.

It would be better if the normal commercial break was allowed to run on the stream, but unfortunately that's not allowed.

I'd rather the fill song do just that. What's crazy is if you stop and then restart the stream while the stopset is still playing, the fill song starts over. It's not a case of a fill song being the same and going out to everyone listening via stream at the same time. The stopset can be 5 seconds to the end, but if you push play you'll get 4 and a half minutes of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (an example from tonight). This is a new thing for iHeart stations for me, as I had been getting localized spots until very recently.
