IHeartRadio in New York Question

Supposedly, WOR is only going to run the exclusive 6:00 hour live. Sexton's three hour syndicated show will continue without OR.

Then "supposedly" what are they doing between 7 and 9? The web site says Sexton runs from 6 to 9. You think they'll run the local hour 3 times?

FWIW, yesterday at the end of his first hour Buck talked about how happy he is to be starting a new local hour on WOR next week. He said emphatically that "nothing will change" about the national show.

He also mentioned at one point that the President finished speaking, "just before we came on air." So my guess is that he's already recording the national show from 2 pm to 5 pm, to air from 6 to 9 pm, then he'll host the local WOR hour live from 6 to 7.

So my guess is that he's already recording the national show from 2 pm to 5 pm, to air from 6 to 9 pm, then he'll host the local WOR hour live from 6 to 7.

His web site (www.bucksexton.com) says he's live from 6 to 9 PM and takes calls during that time:

Connect with Buck on Facebook and Twitter, or call in to “The Buck Sexton Show” at 1-844-900-BUCK from 6-9PM ET/3-6PM PT.

But yes, he refers to the WOR show as a "fourth hour." So that implies that he'll do it after his syndicated show. But as I said, the WOR website says he'll be on from 6 to 9 PM, with Dave Ramsey starting at 9PM. I guess we'll all find out on Monday.

Another aspect of the cuts, maybe.

I think it was Wednesday, all day Z100 had what I believe to be a little Zetta problem that is fixed now but went on for a good 24 hours. Every 20 seconds there is a little blip in the programming, it's like a half second cut out that depending on when it happens is very noticable but sometimes you barely tell, but with every 20 seconds continually.....

I just wonder if in the past, something like this would have been corrected immediately rather than taking over a day to resolve. Now, I'm not saying that this is the case, I'm just throwing it out there as a possible issue from the recent cuts.

This just doesn't seem like something that should go on for so long to one of the most listened to and top billing radio stations in the country, that's all.

Buck Sexton is now appearing on Lou Dobbs TV show right in the middle of his radio show. Clearly he can be in two places at the same!
