iHeartRadio Music Festival

I noticed that in this market, the iHeartRadio music festival is being broadcast on WMTX Mix 100.7. I wonder why it's on here and not 93.3 FLZ.

Judging from the artists involved, a lot of them wouldn't fit in with WFLZ usual programming. Some of them would, but many of them would not. Also, WMTX is much lower in the ratings. WFLZ and WPOI are neck and neck, I'm sure CC doesn't want to mess with a good thing and risk falling too far behind WPOI...

Now, all of what I just said could be total crap... but it makes sense to me...

Not sure I understand why they are airing it at all. Being at a concert is awesome, but listening to one on the radio sucks. Live performance is a tactile experience that cannot be fully appreciated or enjoyed in a 2D medium like radio, or even TV, for that matter.
