iHeartRadio Sunny

I'm surprised I've never read about this on here before. Have any of you ever checked out the "Sunny Radio" channel on iHeartRadio? I think it's a Clear Channel Premium Choice format, but then again I don't think any stations carry it OTA. I've heard stuff like Gary Wright, Commodores, Celine Dion, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Neil Diamond, Richard Marx, 5th Dimension, and Ambrosia in the somewhat short time I've listened. If you like softer AC, it might be worth checking out.

Sounds nice. I don't have sound on my computer or fast Internet, though, but if I did I have many choices. I heard "After the Love Is Gone" on Dial Global standards recently, and that one just sounds so good. Many of those artists are there. I'm happy to say I've never heard Richard Marx there, but I'm not optimistic that will last.

I also heard it on my HD Radio on KDMX 102.9 HD2 in Dallas/Fort Worth. Now THIS is a true AC station (with all due respect to KVIL "103.7 Lite FM").

Clear Channel's WLQT 94.5 "Lite FM" in Dayton, Ohio used to be a carbon copy of the iHeartRadio "Sunny" playlist when they relaunched "Lite" on 94.5 (formerly on 99.9) in 2011, but in early 2012 they shifted WLQT back to a mainstream AC format.

Here's a sample of how WLQT sounded in October 2011:
