Alaska I'll be leaving Alaska soon...

....since I have shared sooooo much of my life in the broadcast realm on here, I wanted to share I'll be leaving KSKO... and while I wouldnt normally share too too much personal here ... I wanted to share the message I read to my listeners at 745 so you can understand how much this place has meant to me

I cant post a long message here but we have a community bulletin board online for McGrath and my entire message is posted there, no sign in/sign up/membership required

Wow. Best of luck in your future endeavors. I know they will miss you in McGrath!

I've had 1 person show up in the last week trying to convince me to stay, another one or two texted me "WTF" and after my message this morning, the CEO of a big, very well known local non profit reached out to me.

Very nice, heartfelt farewell there, Paul. I hope the opportunity "that would be hard to say no to" turns out to be everything you want it to be.

Without saying too much to give it away, I know it will be.

Agreed in full

SRG, wherever the path may be leading you, those who are waiting on your arrival will be very fortunate to have you serving them. Best of luck, partner! The old redneck in east Texas is cheering for you.

Congratulations, Paul!

I can't wait to start seeing pictures of the new equipment rack.

I cant wait to either... they've made some upgrades in the last year or two that i havent seen pics of online yet

Congrats. We can safely say, wherever you wind up, it will be a warmer destination!

YEah, that is true, @Huff .. consider 2 days ago at 54 below was our coldest day in 12 years and that mcgrath holds the weather record for the coldest ever recorded temp with a windchill in a populated place in the USA, you'd be right.

Congratulations, Paul. I've always admired your indefatigable love of radio.

AS my post say, im a fat kid living his dream and while radio isnt doing so great everywhere..... i have personally seen the power of radio work for good... so, yeah

5 1/2 years in a market might be the perfect sweet spot for experiencing everything that makes it special, building lifelong memories, and creating a meaningful legacy there before making your next important career move.

Congratulations, Paul, and all the best with whatever is next!

Having been out of the business for many years, I always enjoyed you mini-tutorials on how voice tracking worked. Besides your professional life changing for the better, I'm sure your personal life will also.

Good luck in your journey.
