ILOVERADIO

Hi, in college I worked at a small country radio station, both part and full time, for about 4 years. I then left radio and pursued a career with various charities. I continue to be a fan, though often a frustrated fan. Living in San Diego, I find local radio mostly disappointing with little creativity and carbon copy stations. While I greatly enjoy Alexa, Sirius, and Internet Radio, I wish San Diego had a regular FM classical music station and a standards station

Welcome. I live in the city, myself. I'm a Spotify fan. It's great. I've learned a lot. However, I love the localness of something starting with a "K" or a "W". And we need more variety here in town. Even the college radio stations are disappointing, and not very city-oriented. They're pretty much for the students, not the larger community (and many are, but there are plenty that reach out and present themselves more professionally).
