You folks who are hearing a lot of Kim are in a small fraternity.
Maybe they are doing great in a handful of sandwich shops and hair salons, but they have managed to take 100,000 watts and barely crack a one share. The high-profile addition of Tom Prestigiacomo seems like a distant memory.
Right on their heels are a 4,000-watt all-Spanish station in Tunica and an invisible AM station serving up Bobby Darin and Tony Bennett. Both of them are Flinn stations, which adds to the embarrassment.
A quick visit to their web site yielded more bush-league tidbits. They don't know how to spell "variety," "Eurythmics" or "Aerosmith."
But the piece de resistance was provided by midday personality Cody Robbins. In her "Five Albums That Everyone Should Own" she included "Exit On Main Street" by The Rolling Stones. I could not find that one at amazon.com. I kept bumping into "Exile On Main Street."
I wonder if Cody has "Motel California," "Dark Side Of The Sun" or "Colonel Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" in her collection?
