I personally like KRBE. What about y'all? How are they doing? Are more listeners attracted to KRBE or Hot 95-7? They are so consistent in the music selection they play. They definetely define what a true Top-40/CHR station should sound like. Major Props over to KRBE and Cumulus in Houston! Applause!!!!

Im more into Hot than KRBE. Hot plays more current stuff than KRBE does. The only thing Hot needs is a little larger playlist, but everything else is good to me. They remind me of what KRBE used to be before cumulus bought them.

I like KRBE to they do not have that 70 min rotation BS & a much bigger better playlist

Great station - not that different from KIIS. Great sounding audio, great playlist.

Off the top of my head, I think of legendary stations like Z100, KIIS, B96, Y100, and KRBE that have managed to preserve their legacy. Whether or not you agree with these stations current owners, playlist, direction, promotion, etc. The institution, the franchise, and the heritage in these stations frequency and brand remains evergreen.

Having said that, each one of the mentioned stations is currently challenged by a direct competitor. I think that only makes stations, like KRBE as mentioned in this thread, even better. Healthy competition that in the end benefits the listener.
