I'm Starting To Think....

....that Mike Adams "secretly" has the night gig. For a couple weeks they keep going on "C'mon Mikey! Storm into Jason's office and tell him to give you the job" or he's saying "I'm gonna give him an ultimatum" and so on....Now I would assume the "average" boss wouldn't like to hear a candidate for a job speak in such terms...although it sounds funny on air...it's not funny when you put it in business terms.

So I started to wonder....Could it be possible that, for some god only knows reason, he actually does have the job, but can't announce it yet? I have no idea why they wouldn't be able to, but what do ya think?

Or actually, just thought of this as I was typing the above....maybe they're just doing it for fun?

...it's called a work... I heard somewhere a few months ago (here? elsewhere?) that he had the job but they were going to play this 'does he have the job' nonsense... WEEI likes to do a 'show'... whether it's contrived good cop-bad cop stuff, silly angles, such as Pete Sheppard's phony 'fight' with Angry Bill, which was an obvious 'work'... because five minutes after it happened, there was a parody when they came back from break--that had to be done in the production room beforehand...

I'd rather just hear honest sports talk, without as much of the buffoonery...

Roger that: it's all show biz. Although Pete probably doesn't even know he's being hosed. I like Mike but I wish Doug Brown got the gig. But like several people who would be good (Chuck Wilson?) I think those guy's ships have sailed. It's a different ballgame.

***Before reading this...please know I am aware this is a complete brownnosing of Mike Adams***

The job is his...and if it isn't, then the station is absolutely foolish. I had the opportunity when I was a young teen to visit him at NECN when he was doing the "Sportsworld" thing...Mike was a great guy, and didn't mind (along with Morry Levine) talking to a stupid 14 year old or letting him visit the studio.

Beyond all of that, he had a way to keep me watching the show. Every night, I would watch Sportsworld...much like every day I listen to the Big Show. I am not an "appointment listener/watcher" usually, however I make it a point to catch an Adams show. Funny as hell...great fan base...it only makes sense.

***That concludes the asskissing***

You....You....YOU BUM SMOOCHAH! LOL

Just hope the announcement comes quick, I wonder if it will be either tonight or tomorrow, cuz of course today is the "Deadline" he gave to Wolfey, that if he doesn't have the gig by end of show tonight "I'm walking" LOL

I love doing errands around the house listening to the radio, and I work until 6:30pm. so when I get home I like to do said chores, but couldn't in the past because of Mr. BC announcer....just too cranky. So it would get backed up to either my days off or weekends. But now I can do them at night! woohoo!

Hmmm...I think this is a schtick. Mistress Carrie from AAF is talking with Mike Adams and his "lockdown" studio shift now...AMEN.
