locally carried the Westwood One/CBS coverage of the NFL games on radio. Had to tune in WBAL Baltimore to get anything.

Who has WW1 football here? Last I heard, WARM had it last year.

WFBS joined the coverage of Sunday NFL football last weekend, and will continue weekly for the duration. The games come from Sports USA Radio Network out of Maryland...and they're good.

WFBS took the WW1 NFL package for several years, but they asked us to promise to take a ton of college games we didnt want, and wouldn't commit to giving us the use of a receiver.

We're ABC and we have Starguide III...they're on another bird, and it meant that WFBS would have to run up its long distance and carry the games over the telephone.

WFBS passed.

Good move. Always liked Howard David and Frank Herzog, two of the announcers on staff. I think the only other place I heard Sports USA was in Atlantic City.
