I'm very disappointed with Philadelphia TV today ...........

Because it appears (as of now unless one, 2 or all the stations changed their minds) that they will not air live on the TV stations 3, 6, and 10 today's 11 AM press conference concerning Barbaro because of the recent turn for the worst with the horse's health. It appears that it will be aired LIVE on the 3, 6, and 10 websites. I know its a horse but everyone in this area really are in love with this horse are concerned about this horse's health and I would think it would be smart to broadcast the PC live on the TV stations. Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia it appears will be the only channel that will carry this live. I would like to know why that they are putting the press conference on the websites only and not on TV and the website even though its rerun season on 3 and 10 in those time slots. What do you think?

It is a godddamed horse!
There is no reason to break in to normal programs for a newsconference about potential dog food.

No, everyone is not. I hear most people complaining that there making such a big deal about this. Even wip was blasting the people going to where this horse is with flowers. I think the one host said goto childrens hospital with that sort of stuff.

Well, I'm very disappointed with Julius everyday ...........

Or, as I like to call him..."rubber cement". :p

And, as far as keeping the horse around, you gotta realise most race tracks take horses that come up lame and BOOM! They shoot the frigger right there on the track for all to enjoy.

I guess they feel they can make $$$ in stud fees, a crappy/selfish reason to keep an animal alive when its obvious its suffering.

They could get the "spunk" outta the horse so they can artificially inseminate (sp?) the proposed dame.

[EDIT]

[EDIT=personal attack]

Julius: when are you ever happy with Philadelphia TV and radio? All you do is complain about the stupidest sh*t. If you don't like Philadelphia TV and radio, turn off your TV and turn off your radio...or get a job so you can pay for satellite TV and you can watch TV from other markets. ::)

This whole Barbaro thing is being blown way out of proportion. Not everyone cares about horse racing. I would understand if the horse was based out of Noo Yawk (since horse racing is huge there). I dont think the horse racing fan base is as large in Philadelphia as it is in Noo Yawk.

What does you think? Why or why not?

The most I have seen on TV in NYC is a few words over some b-roll about the horse during sports, but it has mainly been mentioned in passing during spots.
