Where is a good place to purchase Imaging effects, (all those hard hitting explosions, lazers, etc) Also a good place to get good background music for News, etc?

I like the FX from Noise Generator. They have a series of FX called SLAM,BANG,BOOM...NOISE GENERATOR...and TRANSITIONS

They're kinda pricey...$700 a whack...but you can buy them all for a package price.

You can also pick up FX from AVDeli before they close up their shop.

I thought Short Bus was TM Century? TM has the "Radio Arsenal" brand of imaging efx. Paul Bahr, formerly of KGB, WLZR and WKLS does a lot of the imaging for Short Bus.

If you can do barter, get Chase Cuts and/or Frostbytes from Premiere.<P ID="signature">______________

Sound Ideas has a series of discs that can be purchased individually or in packages. I'm partial to Ear Candy 4 but there are other good ones too. You can audition them online with various players. First Com has a series of discs called Black Box that have some great stuff on them too. First Com also has the old Techsonics discs that still hold up rather well. Check around on radiomall.com also.
