So all you PD's and GM's...
what kind of imaging style are you guys after these days? Is it the more conversational sound...the big sound...? Of course it will be different for different formats. So, with that said, what is it you are looking for these days?
 
I think it depends on the daypart the imaging is for

Morning Shows - normally we are self depreciating and sarcastic towards ourselves
Mid Days - Conversational
PM Drive - I like the imaging to be a little on the "Rowdy Side"

Then of course, that changes with different formats as well.
 
News/Talk and Sports formats I like the ballsy hard hitting stuff....

Same thing for Hot Country...

AC/Hot AC, something friendly and conversational.
 
Okay, I've got a question.

When you produce these different styles of imaging, what kind of pieces and parts do you look for? What kind of musicial styles do you use most, do you use drops, written content, idea starters, whatever? Is there anything you absolutely don't use, and if so, why? Is there anything you'd love to have at your disposal but can't find anywhere? How risque do you get, and how much is too much?

Hmmm...I guess that was several questions.
