COMMERCIAL FREE ROCK STATION DEBUTS
TO SERVE DISPLACED LISTENERS OF
103.9 FM, KYEN, SEVERANCE
A radio station licensed to Severance, CO, which was on the dial at 103.9 FM until just
shy of its one-year anniversary, has vanished. The radio station did something that no
other station around here has done: it played a great mix of Classic Rock and Alternative
Rock songs -- without deejays, promotions, OR COMMERCIALS! The radio station has
been for sale for the past year and is now off the air, leaving many listeners unhappy!
Regent Broadcasting’s Operations Manager Mark Callaghan said “We received a lot of
calls from people asking us what happened to the radio station in Severance, so we
decided to do something about it and are excited to introduce the KYEN format here.
We think the KYEN, Severance listeners are going to love what they hear on Rock 102.9
FM. It will sound very much like the old Severance station with no deejays and no
commercials! Tune-in now because I’m sure at some point down the road, the bosses are
going to make us play some commercials.”
Rock 102.9 is also streaming its programming online at www.Rock1029.com
