Impressed With WHPH in Jemison

I'm impressed with WHPH in Jemison. I like their presentation. When they said, they were going to target the suburbs, they wern't kidding. From this example, they are now making headways into the Birmingham radio market, although B-Ham is outside their coverarge area.

This little small town radio station is impressing me. I thought they didn't have it completely together but I was wrong.

Hope "The Peach" will have continued success with their Oldies format.

Here is the link to that example: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=WHPH+97.7+FM+Jemison+Alabama&ei=UTF-8&fr=FP-tab-web-t&x=wrt

As you check out that link, you will notice that WHPH is now being listed in the B-Ham area radio listings. That is impressive for a small town radio station, that is located well south of the Magic City.

The Peach rocks. I like their presentation very much.

Yep...WHPH does sound better. It's hard to believe that used to be WEZZ, given all the crazy things they've done in the past. I really don't think it's going to have any sizeable audience in Birmingham, though, with its limited signal. Programming-wise, it's 110% improvement.

I like their new billboard with the smiling peach, wearing the headphones and sunglasses. :)

If I could pick up the Peach past Ross Bridge, I'd almost think about not renewing my XM subscription. Wait..who am I kidding?
