Imus..after about 60 days.

Well, it's been about two months since the I-Man has been back on WABC. I can't make an argument for him being responsible for these changes in our political culture, but...
The Republican field has tripped and fallen except for the least conservative of the bunch and..
Hillary is in such trouble that she can't pay her staff and is dipping into the money she got from the Arabs to pay for her campaign.
Is this all coincidence or has Imus caused this re-ordering of the known universe.
I know he's been absolutely painful to listen to, with all that crappy hippy country, and his inability to complete a sentance or his annoying tendancy to not allow anyone else to complete one either, and with all the same old snoozer guests and his general lack of broadcast smoothness, but has he captured that attentive audience that has caused such a scrambling of the psyche of political America?
I know this may be a reach and I don't totally understand it myself, but I sat down and thought about what else has changed and I just kind of gotta wonder.
We haven't heard from Phil lately concerning PPM and Imus lately. I know it's not currency, but how's about a little peek.

Oh, please. Imus is old, old news. Even talkers like Rush and Hannity, who probably have a much larger audience than Don at this point, don't seem to be having much of an effect, so far, on the primaries or the presidential campaigns.

Yes Neo, I agree. I-man sucks so much that I can't even get a discussion about how the I-Man can't suck enough. That bedbug Farid Suleman has really trashed one great radio station in only a few months. WABC really sounds out of wack since the I-Man commeth. I really feel bad for Phil. Even to pay off that old buzzard is out of the question. Hopefully I-man will screw up and violate the terms of his contract and we can get back to real radio again on 77. It's just bad karma. It seems the whole country has gone sour since that one lung got back on the air.

The I-Man sounds better than he has in years. Much tighter show, guests are being interviewed better. Totally out-of-line bits by Bernie no longer in the mix.

Imus is back in top form.

yeah that happens when you have weeks upon end being off the air and wanting to return.
