IMUS/CIANCI

A tiff between the two was mentioned in today's Projo article about Imus' Friday broadcast in Providence. Buddy did not join him. I don't know exactly what transpired but on Friday's show Buddy said Imus tried to one-up him. Buddy's vacation in New Jersey was mentioned as was the Rutgers University brouhaha, but Buddy ended up saying something to the effect that it took the legal system to bring him down while all it took in Imus' case was a slap from Al Sharpton. Ronzo did a good job on the air Friday trying to keep things neutral, but it looks like the I-Man was the one who got one-upped. Buddy remains the king of the one-liners.

" The King of one liners". Yea, also was the King of LINES , just ask anyone around him.

Buddy was also the King Pin of a shake down operation in Providence.

You know, it just amazes me, how so many of you kiss the ass of this two time convicted felon.

I'm sure 'Ronzo' did a good job of keeping 'Buddy' calm.
Imagine, a Co host, who's main job is to keep the other guy from losing it.

Chatter, between two talk hosts, wow..

If I could be a fly on the wall in the studio during stopsets of any show in Providence Buddy's would be it.

Co-hosting is only part of Ron's job. He would want to calm Buddy down when he rants on Imus being that WPRO carries the Imus show. If Buddy lost both gigs at 6 and WPRO he'd still be in a better position than most. I wonder what would have happened by now if he'd gone to WHJJ?

You hit that right on the head. I sleep very, very, little and the radio is always on next to my bed. WPRO is on in the whole house and in the car, in my office, etc.
