IMUS in the Orlando Market?

When Don Imus surely returns to radio in September to either CBS, Citadel, or some other outlet. And most likely syndicated too, could he be syndicated down in Orlando at all?

And why would anyone want to pick him up here? He was already two different stations and failed each time ratings wise. You could open up your bedroom window, start talking and have more listeners.

When was the last time he was on in the area, and what stations?

All this fascination with Imus here and in other markets. Funny, but few were ever very enthralled with his show (outside of NYC) before he was embroiled in controversy.

Now that he's the cause celeb, radio geeks are drooling over him "coming back" and which station in their market will have him. He was a dud in all but a few markets all these years, anyway. His firing has made him legendary but on his best days his numbers were a shadow of Stern's (remember?).

If memory serves me correctly, he was on WOTS back in the mid 1990's and he was on WORL as recently as earlier this year. He was also on one of those pay for play stations in Tampa (WHNZ).

Yeah and many stations will be dying to get him on their airwaves for the ratings it will get with his return and for the 08 presidential elction.
