Imus was on Al Sharpton show, and he said that he is not a racist . Well here is some of Imus Racist past . http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=3082 If it walk like a duck,Talk like a duck, well it must be a duck . Going The Mr Krammer Route , gettin on Urban Talk show and saying Im sorry , should not save his job . Imus has made Racist Joke's ,over and over again . If Imus dont get fired, The next Racist person on the radio airwave's , Will say something just as bad or worse than what Imus said .
 
If Imus needs to go, then Tom Joyner needs to go. Tom Joyner regularly makes jokes against White Americans. If it is wrong for a White Male to make a racist remark towards Blacks, then it is equally wrong for a Black Male to make a racist remark towards Whites. A racial remark is wrong, no matter who is orchestrating the remarks. When it come to the race issue in this country, I only see double-standards from both blacks and whites. Whites only speak out when a white is the victim and blacks only speak out when a black is a victim. As long as people remain in their selfish state of mind, the race issue will only get worst. The reason why people are selfish is because they are looking only to themselves and not for the ultimate deliverance through the true Jesus Christ, not the liberal Jesus or the conservative Jesus.

Agreed. Also James M'Tume (Juicy Fruit, You Me & He fame and fellow NYC radio host on WRKS) as well as former radio host Star (WQHT & WWPR) said Imus didn't deserve to be fired. Also, check out what R&B/Jazz legend Nancy Wilson said in this interview with the Kansas City Star...

What Imus said was totally wrong and I'm by no means defending it, but there is a terrible double-standard going on, and all sides need to take responsibility and clean it up.
