Imus Officially Back 12/3.

Please do not compare Stern to Imus....Stern's show is below the level of a 5th grader....most of what he did or still does is just for shock effect.

Imus gets into news and political humour like few others can. Yes he had his day or days of cursing on the air, but that is not where he was in the last couple of years. The parodies of Sen. Kennedy, Rush, Bubba Clinton were all done at the expense of these wind bags...who deserve the grief for their over inflated egos.

Yeah but those parodies were probably done by Rob Bartlett, not Imus. He did one "Bin Laden on Broadway" that was hysterical. Imus hasn't had an independently funny thought since he decided to marry his daughter!

Cosby! I saw him three times, once at the old Playboy club at Great Gorge, once at the Kirby, at least I THINK it was the Kirby, and once in Vegas. He had me laughing so hard I just about wet myself and never said a curse word. The bit about chocolate cake for breakfast was classic!

Stern never was funny - at least not to me.

That's true.. the funniest part of the Imus show was the bits performed by his backup cast... listening to him refer to everyone as "Morons" and "Jerks" is just not funny.. I never saw Stern as funny either.. not one single bit! The only thing I thought Stern ever did that was good was his movie... the closest thing to a true snapshot of the stupidity that is this busniess I've ever seen.. he was humble at times and honest.. but success went to his head. He's become everything he said he wasn't, including a dirty old man. Imus has an ego bigger that the national debt. Was he sorry he said what he did that got him into this situation... no! When you make a mistake you immediately correct it and apologize.. Imus took days to retract those comments and then only after it hit the WFAN... pun intended!
