IMUS picked up by WTKK again....

This..... this is not Providence Radio. This would be Boston radio, it has absolutely no repercussions here, as another station in this martek will undoubtedly pick Imus up.

Nizam,

Providence is a unique market where other market stations over lap and show up in the Providence book. This discussion has come up before. Where would you discuss WCIB or the other Cape stations? There is no Cape Board and not enough discussion to support a Cape Board.
WTKK may be a Boston Market station but it does cover 90% of the State of Rhode Island. As too the New York AM’s WFAN, WABC, WCBS, WINS.There may be another one or two that come in strong in the Ocean State out of New York. Management of this board realizes that and has never complained that we are discussing stations that are heard, show numbers but not part of the Providence market on the Providence Board .These disscussions usaully keep the conversation flowing when We have nothing going on.I do understand there is something MAJOR. I mean BIG that may happen at the begining of the year.I don't know what it is but someone here may know.I am being left in the dark on this one.

The Cape stations that you cannot even hear in Rhode Island get discussed here 10 times more than the Boston Board. WCIB being the main one. No one complains and usually adds to the conversation. So what is your point? If you don’t like a subject I start. Ignore my thread altogether.

I enjoy talking about the business of radio or what’s left to it and this is one of the tools I use.
