IMUS-SHARPTON

My giggle of the day came when Al Sharpton started blabbing about his "conditions" for the return of Don Imus to radio.

If anybody in the New York area has a giant, smelly, sweaty sock, would you please jam it down Al Sharpton's throat. Thank you.

SHUT UP, ALREADY, AL! Move on, please.

Al is nothing but a greedy POS. Tiwana Brawley, the Duke lacrosses team, etc. He will rot in hell.

Sharpton is your exemplary opportunist. Put a microphone in front of him and he will either be funny or foolish. Mostly lately he is just foolish.

Imus made inappropriate racist remarks and should retire, irregardless of his ratings.

Unethical and racist talk radio does not belong on the public airwaves.

Savage and Levin the same way, racist and homophobic.

About the only radio show left with any sense of fairness, professionalism, and integrity is the Alan Colmes show.

My comment was about Al Sharpton, not Don Imus.

Neither does 99% of Rap "music", yet that abuse of the airwaves seems to be ignored and allowed to continue polluting the airwaves with its hatred violent language and its racist thoughts. I don't support what Imus said, it was wrong, but he's mild in comparison to the Rap "artists".

Well stated, Mike

Should we judge the intelligence of this post by the writer's invokation of the "race card" on talk hosts who disagree with his/her narrow politics OR shuold we judge it by the use of thie non-word "irregardless?"

:D

What the Heck does "IRREGARDLESS" mean anyway? Not regardless? ;D

If we let someone with an agenda like Sharpton dictate Imus's return to the airwaves we are heading down a slippery slope that I would hate to see the end of!

It means without without regard. I usually avoid conversing with people who use words, or non-words, like irregardless. So I'll ignore this person's post, irregardless of its content.
