Imus Sounds Better than he has in years

I don't know if I like the new sidekicks or if they are yet in the flow of the show but the I-man sounds funnier and the show seems great. It does not as though big name guest are staying away at all, in the end the whole controversy seems to have made him better and fresher.

Yes he does! What is funny is that the 'radio engineers', of which I have been in the past don't GET tv. You would think the two mediums would be similar, but they are MILES apart. Imus has really put it together by day 4.

The chick is fully involved and wants to make a go of it. The dudes on ludes and ain't
gonna make it.

Don't know Imus will affect the bottom line at rfd but once things truly
settle in I think the cows will go unmilked til 9am in Minnesota.

All radio and tv forces will be brought to bear to make sure this thing works. Friday
will be his finest hour.

I noticed yesterday, when the tech side was better, that Imus is running a faster paced show that is funnier and way better than the last years on the 'FAN. This is the Imus of old!

I had quit listening to/watching Imus years ago because he had gotten so negative. He still calls people fat baxtards and such but the constant stream of negativity is thankfully gone. It does seem to be a faster paced show now.

As for the new sidekicks... have they ever seen a microphone before? The sports guy is obviously looking down in his lap when he's reading the sports. And Karrith, she's the human laugh track. Come on baby, the constant yuck, yuck, yuck is a beating.

are you people kidding me? imus is old and boring. give him up already. talk about lame. you guys still think he's funny? do you people leave your houses? get with it, the guys gonna die any day now, and hes so out of touch with the modern generation.

Perhaps those that program Imus don't want the current generation as listenbers...ever think of that?? How many of the current generation might patronize Net Jet and other similar Imus sponsors???

I can understand how some can hate on a sucuessful person that has been in the media for 40 years. This is really true of Imus: a guy who burned every bridge in NYC in the early 1970's. But the people on this board that choose to hammer a radio program, produced from a brand new remote location & simulcast on a TV network not use to LIVE TV are disingenuous at best! I beleive most of the folks here could have predicted the technical sunami of BLACK TUESDAY but also can understand how things can happen. But does anyone here remember AMERICA'S TALKING network starring E Jean Carroll or Jerry Spence telling the rest of us how to how live our lives?

Country music AND rodeo news? No thanks! In the future I'm going to listen to Richard Bey and Mark Riley on WWRL.
