Imus to Replace The Cage on WSPZ? Please, Why Not Mike & Mike?

Speculation is pointing to the Citadel/ABC-owned "Imus in the Morning" replacing The Cage on WSPZ. Please, if you've got to go national, why veer from sports -- go with Mike & Mike since you already have the ESPN network in-house. Sure Imus anchored mornings on WFAN for years, but this ain't New Yawk City, baby. Imus may put more money in the corporate pocket, but I doubt his show will play well in the deep South. And gee, ain't it great that until the "nationally-syndicated show" clears, B'ham gets a full morning of Czaban's rude and blue comments.
