IMUS to start on WSKO-AM Dec. 3

Citadel announced yesterday that starting Monday morning Dec. 3 that IMUS was to air on 790 WSKO-AM. Opie and Anthony was to continue airing on 99.7 WSKO-FM. The announcement came during The Sportsbeat with Scott and Bryan. The line up will look like this....

6am-9am Opie and Anthony 99.7-FM
6am-10am IMUS 790-AM
9am-12pm Gresh and Zo 99.7
10am-12pm Gresh and Zo joined in prgress 790-AM

AHA. I called it earlier this month, although I thought Imus would run until 9AM. I call to your attention part of my previous post:

Naturally I'd want to know how O&A are doing & how Imus was doing the last time he was on in Providence, but if it's true that Citadel Providence may be told they have to run him:
Keep O&A on The Score FM
Run Imus on The Score AM until 9
I don't think they'd be competing with themselves

If any of you want me to predict what you're getting for Christmas or when Skynet will move to the West Coast, I'd be glad to oblige for a fee.

Skynet is moving to the West Coast as soon as humanly possible. Don't worry, I'll give my two weeks notice here. Then you can bookmark the Los Angeles board to see me insult the HOLLYWEIRDOS. I'm sure that I'll find just as much to hate there as I do here. lol

Are you sure about this?I was going to post on what I heard Buddy talking about today.
He was saying he had to give up an hour of "Flight" time so his producer could get a raise in a kidding manner. Then he said in a joking manner. Imus then Buddy and then his "PRODUCER RON" in the morning.
So, I'm a little confused.

There's no Imus on the website yet but it was on allaccess.com along with the fact that Ron is PD at The Score now.

Take hand and raise arm over head, turn hand with plam facing your face, bend arm as far as it will gobend head and proceed to pat yourself on the back....much like old WWf...err WWE roll over wrestler Barry Horowitz

They won't be happy until syndicated shows air on all of their stations in every time slot.

I think the ultimate goal is to have only have one employee at each station who maintains the satellite dish and the automation. That's it. Nobody else! All corporate decisions and sales will take place from the main office. It's only a matter of time before you won't need even an actual building for the radio station. The whole thing will be run from a computer in someones house.

Behave Ted or I'll find someone who has an aircheck of you & send it to WALE with a resume in Spanish. I think DJ Teduardo has a nice ring to it.

Sarcasm will get me everywhere :D

Think Imus is in for a rude awakening. His pathetic mea culpa media tour after his nappy headed ho's comment lost him a ton audience and a ton of respect. How can you respect someone who won't stand up like a man? Maybe Al Sharpton should co-host with him? Watching Imus poop his diaper and run around apologizing to all the race pimps he could find was an embarrassment. Imus and his schtick have little gravitas left and he'll find there is a much smaller audience waiting for him. Used to listen to him once in awhile. Heck as a listener I go back with Imus to his WNBC days when he did the morning drive and Howard Stern did the afternoon drive. Now THAT was radio!! These days I'll make it a point NOT to tune in and I think I've got quite a bit of company. Imus is a sad pathetic little shell of his old self.
Not interested!

Imus has a huge thing going for him and we are t minus 11 months & 1 week from that event....presidential election. With all of the politicos that were on his show (and current hopeful Mccain was one of the more regular ones) it will be interesting to listen to.

New Hampshire is closing in fast, and it will be interesting to see whether the candidates will go on air with Imus given his problems.

Given the I-man's hatred of Sen. Clinton, it would be a smart political move for Sen. Obama to appear on his show and make peace with him over the racial issues . . . it would bring a lot of attention to Imus, but it would also draw a welcome distinction between Obama and the Jackson-Sharpton axis.

Obama's political folks might not be smart enough to figure that out.
