IMUS to WILW

According to their website wilw is adding imus in the morning starting september 8th. The question im thinking of is why? This show is already carried on 1490 wtaa-am and isnt wilw a music station.

I'd never listen to progressive talk, but WTAA is a VERY tough catch in Cape May Co (I tried it when they simulcast with 98.3fm). Plus, Imus appeals to an older audience, music or not. Good move Coastal! This will free up whatever they have on ILW now to be the new morning show on WKOE.

A lot of Citadel's oldies stations pick-up Imus just to clear the show in another market (same company). I wonder if Coastal is pretending to be like the big boys?

Possibly not for much longer; fybush.com says that WTAA is flipping to a Spanish-language format, apparently sooner rather than later.
