Imus's Mediocre Ratings

What a great move, WABC. Can a popular and successful morning show for this shock-jock lite.

Gentlemen...don't confuse ratings with revenue. Imus will outshine the former programming financially.

"Gentlemen?"

Ah...I hate to break it to you, sir, but we're not all male here.

Imus is similarly out of touch.

Gentlepersons...

You are corect. I did't want to salutate with "Yo!" or "Hey Y'aal".

No, Imus is not out of touch, he's just not to your liking. And he does make a lot of money for WABS and it's affiliates.

Imus at 3.6 in the morning in NYC is hardly mediocre. He is a full percentage point higher than when he was on WFAN.

And the fact they are sold out for spots indicates a true winner.

Huh? In the only ratings that count, 25-54, Imus was 20th in the NYC market, with a mediocre 1.5 share. Sold out? PSA's are sold? Who knew?

And where did you get that "3.6?"

But in the "money demo," his WABC ratings are anemic. He may have made a lot of money for WFAN -- but not so much for WABC.

And there is no "WABS."
