IN SEARCH OF 96 TICS RAP SONG FROM 1979(ish)!

96 TICS jocks back in the late 70s did their own rap tune to "RAPPER'S DELIGHT" by THE SUGARHILL GANG. It featured each jock rapping. It was cool. Does anyone remember and/or have a tape of it?

Thanks!

It was Bill Lankey (broadway bill lee) and westie.
I am almost sure that Westie has a copy

Thanks for the skinny. Yeah, Bill Lankey and Mike West. Bill is big in NYC. Westie did a few shifts at WPLJ. It was jut Bill & Mike on tune? Ok.

Don't forget Rick Donahue, he was in the rap too, and I do have a copy around here somewhere that I taped off the radio at the time. I wish I knew where my box of old cassettes is, I know it's buried somewhere in my attic, but there's no way I could even begin to guess where, it would take months to dig it out once I found the box (must be over 500 tapes in there).

They kept calling "Rap" --> tounge-flapping.

Yup, it was "Tongue Flapper's Delight." Very fun. And not a morning jock in the bunch! (At the time.) Those were the days....

Sheesh, did I type that? I didn't think I was that old....
