In search of sportscasters

Hello to all. I'm Jim Bleikamp. For awhile now, myself and some associates have been working on re-launching Brunswick's heritage AM station--WCME at 900 AM. The station will be on the air in the near future, and we'll be locally and community-oriented with a locally-based morning show, hourly local news throughout the day and more.

We'll also be very attentive to local sports--particularly to the high schools. I'm looking initially for a play-by-play football sportscaster and an analyst--I'm interested in both established play-by-play/analyst teams, if there are any around the midcoast, and individuals as well.

E-mail me at [email protected]. I will reply to all. I hope to get to know those here who I don't know already. Our plan is to do local radio with a commitment to Brunswick, Bath and the midcoast--in the way that it was done for so many years at the original WCME.
