In tribute to the legend

Voice 1 - Hey, did you hear that the legendary Pat Kain will be leaving Citadel?

Voice 2 - No way. I loved the work he did. That Ho Wah spot was hilarious.

Voice 1 - Yeah, looks like his last day will be the 10th.

Voice 2 - He used to be on LAN too, right?

Voice 1 - Yep. He was the guy who "shot dogs" on April fools day.

Voice 2 - That's right. And the Celine Dion concert in Longs Park?

Voice 1 - That too was the legend.

Voice 2 - Wow, well I look forward to hearing him soon.

Voice 1 - You know you will.

Announcer - Yes, Pat Kain is moving on. Look for him to be poluting the airways in the near future.

Just a little tribute to my good friend Pat Kain. I would wish you good luck, but I'm sure you'll call me to tell me anything important that happens. Good luck in showing them what they lost.

Pat Kain...He was on and Off with WLAN, and then for a short time he was in Philadelphia on 100.3 Y100, most recently Pat was with Citadel Harrisburg. Perhaps Pat should try to go and breathe life into WTPA's stale cracker sound. They need someone else to save their kiester besides Randy 'Rock" Johnson, ( you all remember how he left WTPA to go save the near death Eagle 92.7)

PAT KAIN IS DEAD

OH... it's a script, because I write scripts. I get it. Ha, that's funny... no... really.

P.S. Thanks.

Short time with Y100?!? How about over 3 years! :)

Siriusly... It would be GREAT to work with the fine folk at Cumulus, alas, I've been told that is not to be. Perhaps you would care to write a POLITE little recommendation? I believe the OM over there is John O'Dea.

Thanks for the props and ups and love,

Randy's the man there at TPA. He's always delivered. You figure with Amy back from Citadel and (Ex-Starview) Gina Rockey there, they COULD utilize their part timers a little better. I hear great stuff on the weekends. Pat would be a good addition there, if it's in the cards...<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by Pastywhitethighs on 02/01/06 11:12 AM.</FONT></P>

Yes, Randy is the man, good point... and seriously, thanks for the props. For that matter, while I'm at it, thanks for the Greg PROOPS, too.

Pat is extremely talented and a great friend!
Citadel, as always can't keep talent! It's because they don't respect it!!!

Thanks very much... it's always nice to hear (read?) that your work is appreciated.

And BTW, a big THANK YOU to all the D-bags on here who hate me too! You know who you are... and so do I... and I appreciate that you haven't taken the opportunity to kick me while I'm down, with your cheap shots.

You know I certainly wouldn't have done the same!

Nothing but love to you Pat!!!You are one of the best! I'm sure you are very happy and releaved at this time. I hear there are others there who will be handing in there 2 minute notice very soon!

Thanks D... right back at you. We'll catch up soon... I'll swing in after your show in a week or two... we can talk, and I can give Casey and Troy a hard time!

Re: TROY!

Pat... I'm sure this was a tough decision.... yeah.

It's too back they haven't caught on to the whole concept of RESPECT... it really does goes a long way. I want to wish you the best of luck. Maybe we can get you a gig here in HTFD. Do me a favor and give Casey a big hug, and tell Troy to get rid of that hum in the air chain. HA, HA, the good old days. Now go shoot some dogs...and what about that miss teen contest, or the tattoo on that kid... oh Lancaster doesn't know what it's missing.

Bill Taylor.. who?

How is it I've missed this guy when everyone else seems to know him? Somebody please tell me what I missed. Every DJ seems to be a huge fan of Pat Kain, but all I've heard him do is commercials. Learn me!

Who wants to know... Silly Jilly? Kidd Chris? NIPSEY?!?!?!

Whoever you are, you ask why every DJ is a fan of The Legend, Pat Kain... SO do I, so do I. If you find out, please let me know.

In the meantime, why not e-mail The Legend directly through the website link Will posted... it would be good to hear from you.

The legend of PK started even before Lancaster... heard some great overnight stories from the B103 State College days when the studios were closer to Atherton Street (College or Beaver, can't remember), from Shawn Fitzpatrick of all people.

Before there was Young Will... Before there was Brian Richardson... Before there was Silent Mike, there was Shawn Fitzpatrick... on (State College) Radio.

Damn that is OLD SCHOOL! Please have Shawn get intouch if you can... we can talk about Jeff Daniels and Joe Mama.

ALL HIT B-103!

Any DJ who has the cajones to use Lords of Acid and Faith no More in their music beds is allrighty by me.

Someone else uses Prong, also quite respectable!
