During tonight's episode of "Desperate Housewives", there were two promos that ran for "Grey's Anatomy" -- one during a commercial break in the first half of the show, and another during a commercial break in the second half of the show.
The first one looked like a promo for LAST week's episode. In addition, I believe the announcer said "An all new Grey's Anatomy - Sunday at 10/9 Central". (Normally, when the promo runs for a show that's airing later in the night, they say "TONIGHT" instead of "Sunday"). With that in mind, I think this promo was intended to run between Monday 3/13 and Saturday 3/18 (the episode being previewed aired on Sunday 3/19).
Another oddity is that the promo interrupted a promo for another ABC show (can't recall which one). The other show's promo ran for about a second before this one took over.
I wasn't really paying attention at the time (I figured all of this out by rewinding my DVR) - I didn't realize at the time that the episode in the promo aired last week...so I was confused when "Grey's Anatomy" started and it was a rerun.
Did this happen nationwide, or was it somehow only on KNXV-TV (ABC 15) here in Phoenix?
This kinda reminds me of the "ABC 7" oddity that we discussed here last year -- during a "Grey's Anatomy" promo, a logo for "ABC 7" appeared instead of the regular "ABC" logo -- and then (at least on KNXV), the "ABC 15" logo appeared on top of the "ABC 7" logo -- click here and here for screenshots.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by tanim_95 on 03/27/06 05:37 AM.</FONT></P>
