Incubus "Dig"

To me the album was solid but nothing special. All of the songs were average to good with nothing really striking me or that one song that blew it out of the park. I liked Same Direction, Out of Control, and a few more, but the album lacked a stand-out track.

And if you really look at it, standout songs are what make your album sell. If you have select great songs and the rest is rubbish and you release those great songs as singles--they'll buy into it. (*cough* Pussycat Dolls *cough*)
 
Personally, I dig Light Grenades. It's got good hooks but it's also different from most of what's playing in mainstream CHR. I'm hoping for "Dig" to catch on in a big way.

I don't know about Oil & Water. It should do well at Alternative... but Hot AC & CHR... not too sure on. I don't know why.. it doesn't hit me like Dig did.


Nevertheless, I've added it into light rotation to see how it does.
