Indiana Fever adds stations for 17 over the air games

TEGNA put out this press release yesterday:
The WNBA's Indiana Fever will have 17 of their games air in 11 more markets, including Caitlin Clark's hometown of Des Moines. The others are:

Champaign-Springfield, IL
Cincinnati, OH
Davenport, IA
Dayton, OH
Lexington, KY
Louisville, KY
and in Indiana: Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, South Bend and Evansville.

However, the press release says these are all subject to change. I wouldn't be surprised if more stations sign on once the ratings for these games come out.

Here is one related point that may have sparked Tegna to air Indiana Fever and its tied to League Pass.

The New York Liberty got a new home this season - Fox New York! Most games are carried on WWOR My 9, with a handful of Sunday games on FOX 5. All are streaming on Fox Local.

Here is an update on Caitlin Clark. Not shocking given where she is today and also the WNBA season at play thats a factor on why Caitlin Clark is not in the Olympic Basketball.
Caitlin Clark won’t be headed to the Paris Olympics, according to a person familiar with the decision.

The person, who provided the full roster to The Associated Press, spoke on condition of anonymity Saturday because no official announcement has been made.

The decision was first reported by The Athletic.

Clark does have some international experience with USA Basketball at a younger level, but she couldn’t attend the national training camp in Cleveland after she was invited because she was leading Iowa to the Final Four. Clark finished her career as the NCAA’s Division I all-time scoring leader.

Clark, now a rookie with the Indiana Fever, has drawn millions of new fans to women’s basketball in her college career and also in her young WNBA career.
