Job Responsibilities • Maintain a positive work environment through active team participation and a good attitude focused on quality customer service
• Trouble-shoot and repair computer hardware and software, including network servers, network operating systems, PC’s and PC applications, LAN cabling, system security and virus protection
• Maintain knowledge and stay current on technological advances including computer software and hardware with a focus on Microsoft Windows server, Media and Entertainment Technologies, Radio Broadcasting and workstation products
• Microsoft server based network security, network rights, enforcement of naming standards, maintenance of login scripts and network software upgrades
• Maintenance of Exchange 2003 e-mail post offices.
• Experience with Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 in a complex LAN and WAN computing environment
• TCPIP and Internet networking knowledge required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain computer system documentation for applications installed and devices operating within the Indianapolis Radio production LAN.
• Enforce corporate computing policy and procedure for both Indianapolis Radio end users and external vendors.
• Work with Chief Engineer to develop strategic plan for information technology and integration to the broadcast environment
• Available to work various hours and days including some weekends and holidays. On-call status 24/7 in case of equipment failure
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers
• Other duties as directed
• Implement preventive maintenance program for computer systems and develop operational best practices

Skill Requirements * Microsoft Software and computer networking training required
* Citrix Metaframe experience a plus
* MCSA Certification in computer technology preferred
* SBE “Networking” certification a plus
* Industry standard networking experience a plus
* Minimum 3 years computer experience, broadcast experience preferred

Essential Physical Requirements * Manual dexterity
* Ability to handle moderate stress on a regular basis with periods of high stress and deadline pressure
* Able to lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. of equipment
* Body movements/motions required include, but are not limited to climbing, using hands and arms, crawling, and lifting and carrying equipment
* Job may require driving to off-site locations for equipment repair
