Indie 101.5 VS 93.3 KTCL Which station is better

Back in the 90s i loved KTCL when they played obscure songs, and alot of Electronic music,,, does KTCL still play these kinds of songs or are they pretty much a play it safe Active rock leaning station now.

I listened to Indie 101.5 the other night and I really liked it,, they seem to play a bit of electronica and some obscure and classic stuff... Reminds of a cross between the KTCL of the 90s and the old 96.5 THE PEAK.

I guess it's all a matter of taste. And KTCL isnt an Active leaning station at all. If they 'lean' anyway it's toward the poppy side of modern music.
As far as a comparison between the 2, I'd guess that Indie appeals to the 30 somethings that want to regain their "cool" while KTCL appeals to the younger crowd (12-24, 18-28) who doesnt care about the classic alternative music that Indie spits out with great regularity.
I think the personalities (other than Goodman) on KTCL arent very compelling and I like the Indie DJ's far more.
The imaging on KTCL is pretty much non existent while Indie's is very scattered and unfocused. So pick your poison there.
I don't think KTCL should be all that concerned with Indie. Indie's signal is horrible, much like KTCL's was in the 90's when they were in Ft. Collins. If anything, I see Indie being more of a competitor with KBCO than with KTCL even though Indie's on air presentation resembles KTCL's.

I always thought KTCL had a pretty good signal,, down in Morrison it was one of the clearest stations on the dial, I never had any trouble with KTCL when they would ID as Fort Collins, Denver, Boulder...

Wow, really? I lived in Capitol Hill in the early/mid-90's and I could not pick them up at all. Maybe you heard them in a different, better engineered incarnation.

Welll I never lived in denver, I visited my family in the summer, but along C-470 down to the south near Hi Way 85 I could pick up KTCL really well, but of course this was up high,,, Also,,, in this area i could NOT pick up 96.5 the peak, or 98.5 KYGO because of the shadow of the foothills-Mountains, but along I-70 I could get KTCL really well through Denver until we got to Limon,,, I think its called,,, but 96.5 the Peak and 98.5 KYGO made it to the Kansas state line... i also never had any trouble picking up the former Dance station X-102.1 or 102.3 either,, Which many complained had a weak signal,,, maybe it was because I was up higher.. but even down in Fairplay Colorado about 85 Road Miles from Denver, I could only hear 92.1 then Jammin 92.1 Rhythmic dance-Urban format,,, and 93.3 KTCL and also 96.5 The Peak, and 98.5 KYGO were the only Denver area stations I could get with any regularity. Well I could get KimM 100.3 but never listened to it.
