"Indie Mix 1580"

While riding along Crenshaw Blvd today, a few of the local record stores had posters for a radio station, "Indie Mix 1580"....encouraging local hip-hop performers to provide demos for this station....anyone else seen or heard of this?

Given that the owners of 1580/KBLA, Multicultural Broadcasting, broker time on the station, this is undoubtedly a promotion by someone who is buying airtime for the show ... and I would bet that the performers will be on a "pay for play" basis.
______________

The group or person must have (or will) buy time on 1580, kind of like Air America did before the checks bounced.
______________
