"Industry Experts Have High-Hopes For HD Radio"

"At the Clear Channel building people sit behind microphones and at computers. But that's not what they have for HD radio. At this point it's just a computer. No disc jockeys at this stage. No commercials at this stage, said Chris Kampmeier, Clear Channel programming director.Clear Channel said once it builds an HD listenership, it will begin to play ads and have DJs, but unlike satellite radio the service will be free."

Wow - just a computer repetitively playing Joke Joke, Vinyl Vineyard, Hip Hop, Old School Hip Hop, Comedy, Gospel, Young/Hip/Chill, KiWi Radio, Endless Love, Mother Trucker, The Buzzard Basement, Kiss 2 Funk, Xtreme Hip Hop, Groove, Indepedent Underground (Undies), Fuzic, Beat Street, Hallelujah, Phusion Dance, and undiscovered talent off MySpace Music ! Right - once you have enough of an HD audience, then you will bombard then with more junk, like commercials and annoying DJs ! LOL ! :D

"WABC Brings Back Oldies!"

"77WABC, the station that invented Oldies Radio, is bringing it back on Saturday nights. WABC airs 'Saturday Night Oldies' with Mark Simone from 6-10pm, as we turn back the hands of time. Listen to the hit songs, the old jingles and sound clips that made WABC the most listened to radio station in the world! WABC Program Director, Phil Boyce, said 'WABC is the station you grew up with, and now we are bringing a little of your youth back to the WABC of today.'"
